As part of the new program SESA Fitness offers Social Cooking classes for people of all abilities. Want to learn how to cook and stay healthy. We are here to help. We also offer private shopping tours. This program offers you the information to learn about food labels, organic vs non organic foods, whole foods vs processed foods, etc. All the tours are provided at your local supermarket.

At SESA Fitness we offer Health and Nutrition advice and personalised meal plans. Stay healthy for the future by choosing to eat a variety of foods from all 5 food groups every day (fruit, veggies, calcium, grain and protein). Eating a well-planned, balanced mix of foods every day has many health benefits. For instance, eating well may reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, bone loss, some kinds of cancer, and anemia. Eating well gives you the nutrients needed to keep your muscles, bones, organs, and other parts of your body healthy throughout your life.

These nutrients include vitamins, minerals, protein, carbohydrates, fats, and water. Eating well helps keep up your energy level, too. By consuming enough calories you give your body the fuel it needs throughout the day. Consuming the right number of calories for your level of physical activity helps you control your weight, too. Whatever your age, you can start making positive lifestyle changes today. Eating well can help you stay healthy and independent — and look and feel good — in the years to come.

Good nutrition is important at any age. Eating well helps you feel your best each day. Healthy eating will help to prevent or manage heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis and some cancers. Remember, it is never too late to start eating well!
